I don't know what the mark of the beast will be like. There are a couple of theories out there including this chip-implant.
I'm curious to hear what you think...(not those of you who don't believe anything in the Bible, we already know what you think :wink: )
Could it actually be a chip implant or is it too obvious? What about the UPC bar code as a forerunner of the mark? Could it be just a distraction? If it is a fore-runner to the mark or simply just a distraction, I found this article quite interesting. (It explains how the number 666 are on the bar-code of every items we buy -however it doesn't mean that if we buy something with the bar-code we're doomed! If anything, it's just a fore-runner... Read it and check it out for yourself )

Two articles I found about chip implants: (Not Christian web-sites. I found these sites on my own today and must admit I was a bit disturbed!)
If anyone read the last article (999 chip implants) I would appreciate if someone could tell me if the author explains what the number means? I just read the headline and was thinking, if you turn the numbers 999 it will say 666!

I like what someone said earlier that we are all going to die at some point..and that will be our end of the world! 8O Its true, it doesn't matter if we will be around to see the end of the world or what..we are all going to die one day, right? We will all have our "end" come upon us. The real question we need to be asking ourselves RIGHT NOW, is "what happens then..?"
After we die. For those of us who believe in Jesus we believe there is a heaven, and that death has been defeated on the cross..that it has lost its power. I know I will get critized for saying this.. :roll: But it also says and I think everyone can at least agree on this one point, "that tomorrow is not promised to any of us.." We don't know when our time to die will be, agree? So its better to think on these things now, before its too late. May God bless you all and help you in every area of your life.

Well, I have also read that there are places in America and Japan that are promoting special Smart-Cards (i think they're chips too if im not wrong) that can hold all of a person's information - social security number, bank details, medical history etc,
but in order for it to be 100% safe/protected from theft of personal information, according to the article, it has to be physically and permanently implanted into that person, and will stay that way for the rest of his/her life.
Anyway, that was just some article i came across a few weeks back.
and also apparently the numbers 6-6-6 run at the ends and the centre of barcodes, i've yet to go check that out for myself though.
and truth be told, i would say the reality of it is that, none of us know for sure how this particular chip plays any significance to the destruction or control (by the "anti-christ") of all humans. the clarity of this uncertainty definitely depends on the individual's basis of belief in knowledge of facts and also, how literally far the individual is willing to acknowledge what the Bible tells in relation to all of this.
for me, i would say it is rather intriguing to know that there are such things happening in the present moment, and should they come true to what we have read (which would be a cause for shock)..
and I would also like to agree with Mary, the post that came after yours, that we should always take into consideration that "tomorrow is not promised to any of us..", and we should just think of what we have to do today for now.

Yea, about those microchips and the news about it, i find it funny we have to go search for these things online and they're not heard about in the current news of today, although, it seems in these online videos it appeared in the news some years back. but i myself have never seen a report on tv about it, and i only come across them from these websites claiming government secrets etc, and so on.
Perhaps it really is something hidden away from the people of the world, while being worked upon and planned for.

Hi everybody.
I just felt I had to share this find with you about a theory ab. the mark of the beast I've never heard of before. I mean if this theory shoud be true it could lead to affect a lot of people, including many christians. (Including me and my family!) So I hope it is not true, but if it is I just thought I should give you an opportunity to learn what it is. I can not share it with you here, so please do not ask me to explain, because I can't. It is too an extensive subject. (If you watch it you will understand why) If you want to find out more I will share this link so that you have the chance to find out for yourself. Remember I'm not telling you this is the truth, I HOPE NOT, but I am still a bit worried that it might be... :? Maybe you will find it ridiculous or something, but in my opinion it is better to know different theories in case it should turn out to be the truth. Everyone will have to decide for themselves what they believe in. One other reason why I felt it was important to give you this theory as well, is because it is completely different from what we have heard earlier... I do find it quite hard to believe though!
