Anyone from Israel here? I just read Bible and it says that before Jesus Christ comes again with his judgmental day, there will something very ugly and desecrated appear in Jeruzalem (after many wars, earthquakes and unbearable sorrows).

No. I don't think the world will end and I don't want the world to end. We survived Y2K, I think we'll be okay on 12/21/12.

I do think the world can end at any time but I don't think it would happen due to nature in our lifetime.

I think if the world was to end in our lifetime it would be from a nuclear war. All it would really take is for two superpowers to start launching nulear weapons and the world could be wiped out.

Any other reason the world would end would be due to nature, but I don't think we'd see that in our lifetime. The world has been functioning for millions of years, I don't see how in one day all the sudden the world would end. It would be a slow process.....We'd know about it right now, for instance.

That's very unlikely to happen anyway. Russia/China know that if they try anything, the US/EU will retaliate. The only thing it would achieve is wiping out both sides. Might happen if someone snaps and launches something while in some crazed, suicidal state. But I think they have safeguards in place for things like that. (Takes multiple people to launch etc)

The world has had more wars than right now except no one had nukes back then. The world is a better place today believe it or not. Except that people are capable of mass destruction and I think that part strikes fear up in most people. I doubt 2012.

Phenomenon? I kinda sorta think it might happen maybe. That whole Mayan calendar thing, they were probably working on the December '12 part of it when the Spaniards conquered/killed them. Hope that was the case anyway.....
