I currently have 5. 3 animal, 1 band logo and one Egyptian ankh.
They don't really have "meaning" to them except that I like the animals and I am a fan of that band. Location, has no real significance to me, they are where they are cause that's where they fit and looked good.

I have one, its a hummingbird on my hip. Its in honor of my great aunt who said she would reincarnate into a hummingbird. My two other cousins have the exact same tattoo in different places. Im not sure why I got it where I did. I want more! next one will probably be butterflies on my leg.

I had them both during my travels, and that's what they mean to me. A representation of those special moments.
I have one on my shoulder blade, the other on my lower back. There's no special meaning for that positioning, I just didn't want them to be too obvious.
