Talking to a stranger

So I just talked to a stranger in the train for AN HOUR and I am so proud of myself now :). I was just drawing and for some reason I decided to draw the word fear. After some time he looked me in the eyes and asked: but fear for what?
I immediately paniced and I could have said: "for you" but after a deep breath I found an appropriate answer and after that we just kept talking. I have NEVER did this in my life, and, yes, I was scared to death, and yes, I thought everything I said was stupid. But I also really enjoyed it. It was such a big accomplishment.
I just wanted to share this with you guys because I feel so happy I could do it. I feel kinda overly excited about a little talk, but its just something special for me.

Anyone else who tried to overcome fears today?

Good on you! :) it's a great step to overcoming your fear! It takes a while, but with repeating the process you will eventually overcome it and no longer feel frightened :)

Oh my goodness , this makes me so happy to hear!
I talk to someone for 2 minutes and it ruins my day, I couldn't imagine having a conversation lasting an hour.
Congratulations :)

Strangers can be the best people to talk to - there's no expectations, no pre-conceived ideas about you, less judgement.

Exactly. I was verry scared, but i could keep the conversation going because I knew he would've expect anything from me. I also really saw him struggle to start the conversation, so that helped me too, we where kinda the same in some way.
