Stupid

I feel really stupid And self concious..
I was zitting in à restaurant and i was anxious
And i was feeling that my face got tensed
And my arms felt weak
People were staring at me all THE time
And i was acting like à fool
And my breathin got hard
I still think about it and it ruins my life

:(

Don't despair
No one noticed as much as you think
Time will heal
You WILL win over this anxiety
Your mind will learn
Your body will learn
I know exactly how you felt, I have been there
I have defeated it

How we remember thing and how they happened are sometimes very different things. Think hard, how did it really go? Would not going really have been better? What were the people really looking at? Could you, realistically, prevented anything from happening? Now remember all the good parts, they were there and you know it. Feel better? I hope so. :)

People may have only been a little concerned. If I were there I would have been curious why you were seemingly distressed. I am sure you looked uncomfortable but still appeared like a pretty woman at a restaurant. I understand well how your mindset can mislead you. Happens to me less that it did when I was younger but still it happens.

Us SA people have all been there and it does feel horrible. However, try to remember that it is YOUR mind that is creating the anxiety and just keep trying to make slight improvements in your thoughts during those social situations. Sometimes, some people may notice our strange behaviour(because of our anxiety) and tend to pay more attention towards the SP, which then seems to reinforce the belief the SP has that everybody is analysing and judging them, and so a vicious cycle begins. Even just having an understanding of these dynamics can settle the mind.

^ They're all so right. Not only that, I bet they were staring at you because you are a beauty :) but I realize that may not make things any easier.
