social anxiety/lack of charm

8 Keys to Instant Charm as a Woman | Attraction & Love for Women

Found this link and realised that 'charm' encapsulates everything I'm missing with social anxiety. Too scared to talk because I feel I can't match the 'energy' of others, therefore I'll be rejected. It makes making connections with others extremely difficult, almost impossible.

"In effect, if you don’t want to be judged, just do nothing! Strive for nothing! Be nothing, and think nothing. Just be completely useless! But guess what, people will judge you for that, too!! Surprise! " - this is completely me.

Perhaps a focus on being more positive and feigning an interest in others could somehow could assist in reducing it's grip on life :?

I feel like I could be charming if I wasn't so frustrated and/or uptight all the time.

I think charm is in the eye of the beholder. Some people see charm in you, others don't. I don't want to cast a spell on everybody, just a few is enough. I also don't want to change myself just so I could charm/captivate other people.
