so I heard some news today:

*SIL's 21 year old sister just got married and is pregnant
*SIL's mom and dad are getting a divorce and her mom is seeing a 'well to do' man.
*My baby sister is engaged and just got into grad school (I heard this a few days ago)

Well, out of all the relatives (both distant, cousins, aunts, uncles, and non-related-but-still close 'relatives by marriage') I am now the only person who has never had an actual relationship, no kids, nothing.

Gee, so is there hope for me finding someone, someday? lol

I feel inferior - nobody asks me if "I have a bf" .. makes one feel kinda like the black sheep-ugly duckling of the family.

You rang? I know the feeling all too well! Most of the time I'm ok with it but this time of the year, it is tough. I'd rather be alone than with someone I share no common interests or romantic feelings for, but I'm starting to feel like the single crazy polka dot sock amongst the matched pairs of argyles! And I don't even like sardines or anchovies. :sad:

@Cowboy Up: You would be surprised at to how many lonely men there are out there.......Let me rephrase that. How many good and lonely men there are out there.
Lucky for you, you're a female. That means, the guys come to you. You don't have to play suitor. Just put up a profile on Match (or whatever) be honest about yourself and...........wait. They will come! All you have to do is pick the best one.
So, get on your cowgirl boots and pick out a Stallion. You'll find someone decent.

You have to put yourself out there a bit. Youre hidden away like Cinderella locked in the attic atm :sad: I think you should stick up an online dating profile, nothing to lose try pof and dont even need to put up a pic (I didnt) just fill in your profile and anyone genuine who you like the sound of you can then exhange photos with. That way you can keep your privacy and you dont get any weirdo perverts contacting you (they go for pics ppl), just genuine people (and likely other shy people who either understand or have anxieties and have not included pic in search criteria)

I hope you give it a bash I think you deserve to meet someone who'll knock your socks off
