Just another wasted (sun)day
But acknowledgement is the first step i say
The second step might be to pray
To a made-up deitay
But pray for what? Who can say?

Just keep in mind that money can't buy you happiness.
^ Oh I believe it can!! 🙂

I think only people who have experienced real poverty for many years can be happy by just having enough money to not have to continually worry about paying the rent, being able to afford enough food for the week, not having to repair/hand sew the worn tears in your underwear because the cost of new underwear could mean missed food.

What money can't buy is true friendship or true love.

Medication. Taking mind altering drugs to feel better about being called weird or strange.

I wouldn't mind dieing alone, somewhere surrounded by nature. I am perhaps 5-10 years away from people able to comfortably withdraw from people. It is my dream, being around people makes me unwell.

I hate that I have to miss the stock market open tomorrow because is going to go up past the price I wanted to buy at early in the morning . the company iv got my eye on just got FDA approval for a new opioid dependance medication . usually while a pharmaceutical company is waiting for approval on a new drug, a lot of shareholders will back out just in case it doesnt get approved and the price per share will go way down because of it.

by 9:30 tomorrow morning those share holders will be buying back in and riding the wave to higher share prices ...but unfortunately I won't be one of them because ill be at work baby sitting a bunch of 20-something year olds -_-

the case manger has her own office though and she goes on Facebook in the morning when she's not busy...I bet she could so easily trade equities right there on her computer .....DAMN I wish I had my own office!

^And that is absolutely fine, AtTheGates.
Sadly in this socially engineered society we are forced to live in today, the situation you just described is quite common and unavoidable.
We all do what we have to survive. Good luck with your life goals, AtTheGates. : )

So, about 8 weeks ago I submitted a saliva sample to get genetic testing via Ancestry and today, I got my results which were a bit surprising, but really cool. Attached are my results 🙂

That's cool, I need to do that.

What surprised you the most with the results?

I think what surprised me most was that I'm Scandinavian and that I'm not more Italian. Also, that I am 5% European Jewish. There was some more info that I didn't screen shot - just things that were 1 or 2%. Turns out that I am 2% Iberian Peninsula (Spain/Portugal) and less than 1% Finland/Northwest Russia lol.

I really like Ancestry, but am a bit disappointed that they just give you regions of where you're from - they're not super specific. Like, for instance, Great Britain includes Scotland/Wales in the countries that cover that area, but Scotland/Wales are also included in Ireland, so I'm not sure which I'm more of.

There's one thing i find more boring than politics. And that's the stockmarket. Thankfully i don't have to be involved in either.

I'm seriously gonna have to try this some day. I don't know zilch about where I'm from and my family seems to think that I shouldn't care.

That's really bizarre to me - everyone should know where they come from. Since you don't know anything, it might actually be more fun diving into your ancestry.

All I know is that I'm black. But as to how much of me are other things or exactly what country in Africa we came from I don't know. Yeah I'm definitely gonna try it if my new job pans out.

Seems less active these days, and there are some different frequent posters. Many people I talked to a lot don't post here anymore.

I used to not care about the stock market either before I started investing. Now its more interesting to me because there's money to be made. I'm currently working on a swing trade that will hopefully bring in at least a $500 profit by the end of next week....HOPEfully.....but once I start investing larger amounts I can work on even BIGGER swing trades.

Iv considered day trading but thats a good way to go broke in about 5 seconds flat. lol...I think ill hold off on that for a WHILE .

its also been kind of fun learning about all the names of stock chart patterns and what they indicate . "Gravestone Doji" and "dragon doji" are two of my favorite patten names so far.

but a year ago today I could've cared LESS about the stock market.
