I take a walk in the park.
Wandering aimlessly around;
I sit on the ground thinking,
Too many thoughts.

I tell myself to forget it,
Get the Darkness out of your world;
Fake a happy time,
Let false words unfold.

I strive to rid myself of feeling,
Grin and bear it,
But I have no way to heal,
The wounds are too deep.

The swings are going with the wind,
Up and down, up and down,
Like my mood.
I hope no one sees.

The Darkness is everywhere,
nothing escapes it.
Everyone will eventually be cloaked in
This Darkness.

I like it.

These lines in particular speak to me:

"Fake a happy time,
Let false words unfold."

Trying to hide it, and not being able to be myself.

P.S. Some people are just tired of reading gloomy poetry and don't bother with yours.
