OCD - need quick short term fixes fast

i have exams coming up. i have ocd. im stressing like mad and never able to concentrate half the time. have so many things on my mind.

my ocd is more thought orientated rather then physical and covers the full spectrum. however, my ocd does center around semen. if i masturbate i require 3 showers until i feel remotely cleansed.

i need some quick fixes please. i was already torn apart by a few individuals who harassed me and caused so many anxiety attacks last semester (i even failed a course and given a chance to retry the test). im on prozac now, just starting, with an extremely low dosage

i am so concerned with my weight, eating habits, social anxieties im falling apart. i need hours at home to calm down and i just stay on the computer for hours on end. prozac is helping tho and it is getting better, but i need quick fixes for short term.

Someone else posted that they took fish oil, a mulit-vitamin and St John Wort and was feeling better in 3 days. Otherwise you could try GABA mood assist. I got it from the natropath in the pharmacy, it's not on display though, you may have to ask. I'm also taking fish oil, but again the natropath recommended a certain one.

I think also that you should try going for a walk instead of going on the computer. When I'm feeling depressed and go for a mountain bike ride, I'll be over it by the end and feel amazingly good! Exercise is meant to be really good for depression, also a bit of sunshine is good too. Not only will it make you feel better, it will keep you fitter than sitting on the computer. Good luck, but you've got to take action for it to work.

I've heard St Johns Wort can take 3 months to kick in. But who knows, everyone's different. But it's meant to be good for OCD either way.

What works for me is to make a list of things to do each day. And no matter how bad your ocd gets say to yourself,
"this is an ocd thought. I will deal with it after i am done with the things on my list"
This will help keep you on track.

I'm kinda confused about what you're asking...you need quick fixes for managing your OCD tendencies?

If I masterbait I feel everything around me is contaminated and I need to clean the entire house to stop the spread of that contaminate. (eventually i shell up and just sit in one area....if i move and touch something i need to wash my hands, im sick and tired of washing my hands. but in a sense it has stopped me thinking of other things....fml)

I can't concentrate on anything, I always have something else on my mind where I constantly do loops upon loops thinking about it and or getting distracted.

If I can't figure something out I go back to my compulsions (computer, thinking about this situation about this girl which lead up to me being criminally harassed).

I constantly feel sorry for myself and do **** all. I hate it. Last year I spent so much time understanding things in highschool. Now I just don't do anything.

I haven't been able to talk to anyone yet for theorpy. I have to phone in and get an appointment set up again to have the next step in my dosage shot up. I really don't know what to do nor able to help myself.

and if i get bored i tend to masterbate. and then my parents take everything from me.

fak fak fak fak fk fka fa.... uffff

frig, materbation is basically a compulsion of mine. removes so much stress and then just causes a hell of a lot more. and i can't really control it.
