i hate how society pins swear words with a bad connotation

they're just verbal expression of negative emotion, something every human feels

with that said i try not to use them :) at least lately.

I'm with you on this. They're simply words to me and I believe that they're not a big deal until someone makes them a big deal. According to what I've been told, swearing is often associated with the idiosyncrasies of people who are of low socioeconomic status. I personally don't care for that mentality. It's a bit high-brow for me.

I can't swear in front of people either. Most of the time I just don't see a need to. But if I do and I'm with some "friends" or even talking online to people and I do swear, everyone just looks at me funny since it's rare that I ever swear. I was just talking with someone yesterday about that, actually. They said I'm too well mannared to swear, but when I'm alone or the monolouge in my head I swear all the time just like you do.

I always just thought it was how I was raised, I'd get in trouble if I swore, so I just wouldn't since I've always been a good kid and avoid punishments at all costs.

I have a hard time saying anything if it would reveal how I am feeling or what my opinions on subjects are. I've held so much in for so long I don't even know if I can express myself anymore.

Yeah, that words it perfectly. That and anything that I fear may "define" me.

That's what Carlos the Jackal looks like!? I was expecting something totally different thanks to Bruce Willis.

I know, right?

Looks like a normal guy - like some of the guys who have their pictures posted on this forum!

You just never know if the guy in the check-out line next to you is really a notorious, internationally-wanted assassin.
