Hi, I am new here. I am 21 years old. I have always had trouble building relationships. When I was younger I didn't talk to anyone and I was like that until sometime in middle school. Even then I was very quiet and uncomfortable around people. It wasn't until high school that I was able to make small talk with a few select people which were probably the closest thing I had to friends, but my conversations with them would always end awkwardly. Also I was never invited to anything and I was afraid to ask for anyone's phone number, although if I had the number I would probably be too afraid to call. When I started college I didn't have enough money to live on campus so I stayed at my parents' house which was about an hour away. College was more of the same. I didn't make many connections with people and I finished with a couple of acquaintances. I only have one person that I call friend and he lives an hour away. My hobbies are playing video games, listening to music, watching movies and tv (not an active lifestyle). I love Slipknot, Coheed and Cambria, Between the Buried and Me, very little rap music, and some select death metal bands, including Morbid Angel.
I am 17 years old and I have SA. I didn't really get it until 9th grade, so I have a bunch of friends. I don't like being around them very much though. None of them know that I have SA, unless they figured it out on their own. I'm sorry that you don't have much friends, but everyone here knows how you feel and I would be happy to be your friend.
