Imagine getting your in being a mentor for a group of high school kids. Oh what did i get myself into. The other mentor do all the work and i just stand there looking stupid. It feels so bad in those 4 hours, time goes by so slow. Should i quit? I think it bringing me down.

Maybe I can relate:
Asked a college teacher of mine to fill in for an afternoon class. Scared, confused, many thoughts. All beyond reasoning. I could not decline. Penalty for being known well and liked by the teacher.

What helped me through it? Breaking ice. Grasp what is happening, being said, move forward with it. I say this based on first hand experience. I hope others will have better, maybe clearer, answers or advice.
