I am new here. I have never posted anything on a forum before. So I bought a mattress from a guy and he wanted to set me up on a date with his daughter. I guess he liked me or he know the line of work I am in made a lot of money or his daughter likes hard working men?? He gave my phone number to her and shes been texting me wanting to go out. She sent me a pic of her shes very cute. The problem is that I have never been on a date and every time I talk to a girl I sweat profusely, turn red and my head turns blank. She seems like a good girl. But I know I am going to mess it up and make her feel very uncomfortable and make my self feel like ****. I am a good looking guy, but I obviously lack in self-confidence. I've been thinking of just telling her I moved to Primm, NV to work on a Transmission Line. What Should I Do??

Thank you for replying. Another problem is that my job makes me travel....1-400 miles away from where I am and I am about to get called out from my union to work some where?? So this might be a one time thing. I guess it could be just a leaning experience. What do you guys think?

Yes, your travels will make it hard but don't let that be an excuse. Her dad already likes you and she likes you. When you have time, meet her. Don't prolong it.

if you are really worried about it, just give her a heads up and say that you are a bit shy, or have a tendency to be quiet at first, but then once you get comfortable you start talking, ...
that way should you get embarrassed, she will know its not that you dont like her, you are just that way...( so many times people walked away it was because they thought i did not like them )
