my 21st is coming up and i dont know what to do

I hit the big 3-0 next month but I'm not planning anything, except maybe some wings and beer. 21st is a big deal though. That's really the last monumental age that will legally change something in your life. Take advantage of it, it's only 1 day.

I went out with a small group of friends and family and we just bar hopped all night (from what I remember). One of the coolest things about turning 21 is you probably won't have to pay for a thing. I had random people buying and doing shots with me everywhere we went. Good times.

You're guaranteed to have a good time, even if it's only with a couple friends.

I just went out for a meal with my family. My aunt and uncle thought that I was weird but oh well.

So I'm going to be turning 21 soon. I can't remember the last time I actually did something with friends for my birthday. Everyone is expecting me to do something for my 21st, I could blow of my 18th but not this. I'm scared that my few friends/acquaintances will be offended and think that I decided not to invite them. And how will I ever explain to people that I didn't do anything. My dad said we will 'talk about it' later... great. My parents know of my low social life but they don't know how bad it is. I can't have a party or it will be extremely embarrassing at how few people I actually know.

I also feel bad because my cousin, who is a similar age to me, invited me to her 21st. I usually only see her at Christmas and stuff, and she only invited about 60 people. What if she thinks I didn't invite her to mine? And how on earth can I tell her that I didn't do anything?

If they care about you, they'd understand that you don't want to make big plans for your 21st. How about just organising a small get-together with your friends/acquaintances? Go out, have a ball.

I understand how you feel because I'll be turning 21 next year and I plan on only celebrating it with people close to me/some acquaintances. A party or gathering of some sort will give me a lot of unnecessary stress.
