Missing the boat etc

Anyone on here been in the sad situation of missed opportunities of being in a possible loving relationship with someone because you hadn't or didn't realise that it was possibly staring you in the face all the time & you were to busy with your preoccupations on others, I know I have. :sad:

Absolutely. I have felt bitterness and regret over such, too.

The positive thing that I have learned: there is always another boat, no matter how convinced you are at that moment there isn't.
