Let's Write Journals! :)

So I have this idea. It can be a thing where we all help each other stick to it. If anyone is interested, we should all write journals and then share little bits and pieces of them, here. It can be daily, or weekly, or wheneverly. I am doing a daily journal, just so I can gauge when and how anxious I get. My doctor and I think that my anxiety waves are because of PMDD. SooooOoO.. I gotta keep track of it! ANYWAY! GOOD TIMES! We all write journals and share here, and be here for support. Because that's what support groups should be doing! :) You can write about anything you want really. I generally write about how I'm feeling, or pivotal moments in my day.. Or even the lack there of! haha. Anyway! Feel free!

lol nothing really interesting happens in my life either. I write about how I feel.. And what provokes those feelings. It's just like keeping track of your emotions. :p

I used to keep a journal, but I decided I shouldn't work with my anxiety unless it's got something to do with the therapy I'm already going through with my therapist. It could do more harm than good, I'm afraid, especially since overthinking things is my problem to start with.

Here's a tip i learned--why don't you try writing your journal about your day.

And then writing about the same day again but in a different point of view.

Write your day as a comedy. Make fun of your sa.

It's working for me

Do you mean as in writing it from the viewpoint of a different person? Sounds like something I'd want to try. :D

This is a good idea!
I just set up a blog, so hope to update it soon :).
It could help with expression and those feelings which tend to stay only within my mind.
http://questions--and--answers.blogspot.com/ This is it.
Looks interesting. If you don't mind, I'll link to it from my own blog. I don't have a lot of readers yet, but it couldn't hurt, right?

No, not as a different person. As you. But you with a different attitude.

What i do is write my journal about me in third person. For example i'll use my middle name, Rachel.

So i'll say 'Today Rachel did so and so' so the person i am writing about is a different 'me' from the past, but the person who is writing about Rachel is me in the present, looking at things from a different angle.

So what Rachel did is not my fault. I'm not Rachel anymore. It was all just a weird dream...

And i laugh at Rachel and her antics, being scared of people, avoiding chances to have fun etc.

Have a go you won't regret it :D . Just make sure you're not judging Rachel or whoever as yourself and feeling victimised when you laugh.

Well if you are usually very judgemental then it will help you in that way.

The main idea is to see that all your emotional reactions are created by you. Including the main one, fear. It really helped me to realise that i create all the fear pointlessly. It's not something you can read and go 'oh yeh i know that'.

And to see that there is an alternative way to look at things ie enjoy yourself.
