I've been a pretty envious person my whole life, but now 'n days I'm trying to get rid of it (i feel guilty w/ other people). But I am soooo jealous of watching couples holding hands, kissing, pinning eachother to the wall around my high school. I talked to a couple; this boy who i've used to had a crush on, and he's with his girlfriend. I try and talk to them, but they feel annoyed by me and he keeps pinning her to the wall.

Talking to couples is sooo strange.

I know exactly how this feels. I've gotten to the point where I avoid certain songs and movies that I would otherwise like just because I can't stand that other people may actually be able to find someone that they love and are happy with...

Its good to know I'm atleast not alone...

when im trying to make new friends at work and i start getting somewhere and then i walk in and see that person joking around and being charmed by someone else 10x better then how i did, i become very jealous and stand offish ....as if i cant be as impressive as that person so whats the point?

jealousy is useless but it pops up all the time

Yeah actually that happens with me too although usually only with girls that I like. Every time I foolishly believe I might have a chance with a girl, I get brought back down to earth when I see them chatting and laughing with another guy.

Nah. The lads are jealous of me.
I don't talk much but, even then, the girls love me.

I think they (the girls) see me as a mysterious lad so, they find it attractive
It makes me really anxious/nervous when the girls are looking at me, though.

My situation is a little different. I am in a relationship but I know that I am probably not my BF's usual "type." It sort of makes me upset when we are out somewhere or watch a movie, etc. and there is a girl that I'd think my BF would find attractive. Though, I don't consider myself bad looking, he seems to have this attraction to a certain stereotype, which I do not fit.

Here's another one: I'm jealous of people who are sooo open-minded in class that they can yell out whatever they want, and not be embarrassed by what the teacher or classmates think. Sometimes even those who might be "teacher's pet" and jabber on forever.

I'm jealous of red_reagel, he gets to watch young couples dry humping themselves in the halls of his high school. Also today's high school girls wear low cut jeans and very tight clothes. I read somewhere that high school girls don't consider oral sex as sex these days. Can I go back to high school?

i made a post the other day were i suggested that old sayings are still around for good reason, because they are true.

heres another

jealousy is a curse.

jealousy in my view is akin to comparing yourself to someone else, and concluding your inferior. If we didnt do that, at all, then perhaps the inferiority complex most of us with social anxieties face wouldn't exist.

I'm jealous of anyone who can talk to a stranger just like that, people who can talk to somone without planning what they are going to say right down to every word.

I'm not jealous of couples because i enjoy being single. There are more single ppl out there than there are couples.. hope that makes you guys better o.o. One thing that i am jealous of.... no... two things:
- how smart everyone else is in spw
- and skinny girls.

There are so many single ppl out there.. i don't understand how it's so hard to find someone. If you're shy, then e-mail them o.o
