Is love equal for both parties?

I think that a marriage (or relationship) that lasts for decades isn't possible unless both parties understand that any long term relationship requires a lot of hard work.

I never said that it was easy; my longest relationship to this date lasted for a whopping 8 months. All marriages--whether it's a royal marriage or a regular marriage--has it's ups and it's downs and love between a man and a woman is by all means conditional. Having said that, if a marriage hits rock bottom (hint: a lot of marriages does) and still manages to become a healthy relationship again, it is because both parts love each other very much.
