Is it normal to stay up for almost 24 hours and not feel tired in the slightest?!

Okay so I do love my bed and sleeping but for a while now I've not been able to sleep and just spent my time online, listening to music and watching tv. I then fall asleep eventually and wake up a few hours later ready to do it all over again! I took a quiz (yes I know it's not reliable) to see if I was bipolar and it said I was. I decided in i should see a doctor but my mum said she's not taking me and my mood swings are just part of being a teenager but she's not the one who at one point wanted to end it all just because of one tiny thing!

So I have two questions:)

1) do you think I could be bipolar?
2) should I convince my mum to take me to a doctor?

I think you should convince her to take you to a doctor. We can't really say if you are bipolar or not because we are no docs, and online quizes are not the best source of information.

better to go to a doctor, try not to waste too much time feeling miserable, not worth it.

Best to goto the doctor yourself if you can without a parent or a guardian. Parents can be ignorant and sometimes they don't want any labels or stigma attached to their family.

Since you're young I guess lack of sleep (and not being tired) isn't too big a problem or a direct indication that something is wrong, and your mom could be right about the mood swings too. However, if you feel like there is something wrong it can't hurt to get confirmation on the subject.
