This friend of mine told me about these schools for mentally ill people, including social anxiety and even just depression. They are both schools to get your diploma and they help you with your problem, you actually live at them too. It sounds soo nice at the thought of living at a school place with other people like you and finally being able to socialize, get help, and start getting my life better, it sounded sooo awesome. But obviously it'll be super expensive..
But my friend told me that the Department of Education(USA) is actually responsible for people under 21 getting their schooling done. She said that they will actually give you a grant to go to one of them schools, they will pay for it. But I looked on the site and couldn't find anything about it, she said I should call a local place and get information on it, but I'd need to tell my mom then. So I wanna know if this is even possible before I have to tell my mom, she knows... basically nothing. So all of a sudden telling her I wanna leave and go to a school like that... that would be kinda awkward and stuff...
Just so you know, I'm 18, dropped out of high school long ago, severe social anxiety, and depression. So is this even possible? Am I even qualified?
