Is anybody embarrassed to ask for Job Applications?

I dread doing it, and that's why I haven't gone out in a while to apply to places. The last time I asked for one at Payless, I got real anxious, I wanted to get away from there, and I made the cashier nervous as he was putting my shoes in a bag.

I make people nervous all the time with my nervousness.

actually no i dont get anxious about asking. thats probably the easiest part for me. and i usually always stay there and fill it out somewhere and turn it in same day. im more nervous about trying to turn it into the manger. i could just give it to an employee there, which i usually always do, but giving it to the manager and introducing yourself is the best thing you can do. But managers scare the shit out of me. very intimidating, ecspecially if its a guy.

it can be nerve-wracking. the hard part is if you actually stay and fill it out on the spot because then the employees sometimes stare at you. the worst part is the interview. it's like here i am! judge me! job interviews are probably when my anxiety is at its highest.

I am so scared to go in and ask. Last week my mom actually drove me around and made me go ask. I went to a few places around town and I figured that the more places that I visit the less anxious I would be but I was the same at every place.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean! I felt like the people who worked there were looking down on me, and I just generally feel stupid. I ended up printing a lot of my application forms out online, so I didn't have to ask! I think the more you get used to asking though, the more confident you get.

Yeah I always ask for them and never return them I mean I finish them but I never return them
