i have a idromed 4 and i use it to treat my hands of hyperhidrosis. It works great all my hand area is dry BUT my fingertips and thumb, why is this? i have my hand submerged and make sure my finger tips are submerged- i use 15 ma power, idk why thats the only area it doesnt work/please help

Yes that happens with some people, they cant get parts of their hands dry, usually their fingertips. When I feel I need to take another treatment its always the fingertips which begin to sweat first. I think its because there is a higher concentration of sweat glands in this area.

How often do you use the machine? You could experiment, do 1 treatment every other day for a week and see what happens. Use 15 minutes on each hand. You could also try adding baking soda to the water, that might help. If all else fails there is glycopyrronium bromide solution but it doesnt seem to be widely available based on what people have posted.

i do 15 minutes with alittle baking soda each day- does it matter on how much i add baking soda? is there suh things as too much bakin soda?

Same. In the past when I've successfully obtained dryness, I would be able to go around 2 weeks without maintainence. But the fingertips would almost always still be wet after maintainence. (since then) I've had to redo my treatment as I got lazy(third time). I'm
On my 15th day of treatment, doing twice per day for 10 minutes,(6am and 10pm) and today it's pretty much 90% dry. I'm going to try yet again to attain 100% dryness, probably maintaining the treatment once every 3 days as trial and error.probably once every 2 days or even once every 6 days. Hopefully I'll find the benchmark to how often I'll need to maintain the treatment.

P.s: in case if you don't know, by maintainence I mean redoing iont once you've gained dryness. Hope it makes sense.

Maybe you guys could share how often do you need to continue ionto maintainence to achieve the dryness.

But personally, even if my fingertips sweat a little, I think I'm already thankful to have almost my whole hands dry. Beats having dripping wet palms don't you think?

Fingertips can take up to several months to begin being dry. It all depends upon your body and your treatment schedule.
