Intimidation from certain people

Intimidation as in your fear of being around specific types of people (confident, tall, beautiful looking, shy, ect) I'm mostly intimidated by the loud, confident, attractive, impatient, outspoken, and rebellious types. I'm especially intimidated by beautiful looking women with high self esteem I see anywhere. However, I'm more comfortable(if I may sound shallow) around average looking, polite, shy, and "nerdy" type of people and qualities such as playing video games, fantasy, ect. I'm intimidated by just girly-girls in general who shop clothes, like jewelery, make up, gossip, and so on. Do any of experience similar situations being fearful of others?

I'm also intimidated by the types of people you mentioned. They all fall under the category "social and extraverted." I often befriend people who are quiet and nerdy. The girly-girls type just scares me because they laugh at me for my "hobo-ish" appearance.

People tend to be drawn to people they consider like themselves. Its an interesting idea. When you consider a highschool class at the beginning of term, people do tend to gravitate toward the people they consider are most like themselves.

Of course that doesn't always seem obvious. For example, in some circles I'd be considered extrovert (though I'd never consider myself that way) I would be drawn toward the quieter people but they would be freaked out by me.

Sometimes I'm neither and I'm a total outsider.

Luckily most the time Im regarded an introvert and other introverts tend to recognise that. So I usually have somebody to talk to at school
