Ideas for New Years Day

This year some of friends want to come here at my house to spend the New Years Day...For more then 10 years that I live alone so I rarely spend this day with lots of people. I would love to hear some ideas to do on that day..specially after dinner!

You could have a sit down dinner, blow up fireworks, end with a movie and dessert. Maybe play a board game like a survivor game, like ask if you were in this situation such as a lion chasing after you what would you do?
