I wonder what it's like to have normal problems.

Problems that you can share with people and you don't have to hide it from everyone. Like having troubles with a girlfriend or something. It must be nice to have a problem that people can relate with and you can share it. Sometimes I wish I had a harder life growing up, like growing up in a bad neighborhood or a war-torn area, so I would have real problems to worry about and I would never have developed this fear of people.

anxiety is a normal problem. And hearing people talk about their relationship issues all the time isn't great. lol. It would be nice if people were generally more positive, including myself. A lot of people have problems that they don't discuss, so you would never know.

I might just be being a bit cynical, but i think with alot of people in general.... people are never happy and always find problems to moan about,i think its in our nature. Its like i was in a shop the other day... and this couple infront of me were propa moaning that there was too many brands of toothpaste to choose from 8O when id just had the worst weekend of my life.Im not gonna say where i wanted to shove the toothpaste but i think you can guess... and it wasnt on my toothbrush.

People who had never had anxiety cant appreciate what its like not to be socialy crippled, because untill we loose somthing we generaly take it for granted.Anyway yeah anxiety is a propa problem... its one we have to deal with 24/7.And trust me growing up in a rough neighborhood is over rated.

Well people i work with are going on about how they are struggling to live on the wage we get, but i still live at home so that's not an issue for me, but they have one thing i don't have.....The ability to socialise, friends, girlfriends/wives.

I often wonder, if i am as anxious as i am now what would happen in a real crisis? Does anyone ever wonder?

I think you would find you would handle something really serious suprisingly well ya know :) Were use to having the fight or flight reflex kick in so often with anxiety compared to most people, your instincts just take over sorta thing i find.

http://www.bookrags.com/research/fight-or-flight-reflex-wap/ hehe thats a really scientific explanation...

but i guess its kinda ya bodies way of preparing you for what it percieves as a dangrous situation. You kinda go into survival mode... adrenaline pumps round your body... your senses are heightened. Its instinct basicaly... from when we use to have to either fight for survival... or run... so fight or flight. If youve ever had a fight... you know that feeling as you get a bit shakey afterwards and you feel all dizy... thats it.

(edit) and thats why social anxiety and other anxiety sucks so much, cos our body basicaly puts us into killing mode when were trying to be social
