Hey everyone. I'm new here. I have been over at the SocialAnxietySupport site for a while, but this one has a section specifically for what I have, Agoraphobia.
I was finally able to go to the doctor and get a diagnoses. I'm happy about that
Although they just gave me 3 kinds of meds and scheduled another appt after a month. Kinda bummed about that.
Well, I'm 29 and still live at home, scared to go out of my house most of the time, or if I do it has to be with someone. I never know what to do with myself when around other people mostly. I don't talk and just wish I was back home. Anyway, what I really need is an income. Do you guys think I could get on disability or will they say this isn't severe enough?
I get no respect, have no friends because they think I'm lazy and don't want to work. If I could, I would I just think it's insane that I'm almost 30 with no job. I hate even saying that.
