It wasn't just some random woman I had never talked to before. I had seen this girl like 20 times over the course of a year. We had a bunch of different random discussions.
Also, I can't stress enough that I really don't care what this girl thinks of me. She got me, I moved on.
I honestly feel great about this whole situation. I've never lacked opportunities with women, my problem comes with taking advantage of those opportunities. I feel a lot better having taken the chance than I would of if I had sat back, been passive, and done nothing. My passiveness around women has been one of my biggest regrets in life at this point, so this is a step forward.
I'll probably see her again, not because I want to but because she'll be the only clerk working. It'll be a little awkward but whatever. Unless I get some brilliant idea on how to get her back I'll most likely give her props on burning me and leave it at that.
