it doesn't really matter. there are a few people who i work with and both of them are the wackiest conversationalists ever but its funny, sometimes the banter makes no sense at all, its all very random. One staff member talks in one worded answers and often mutters one word and its usually funny. Alot of it doesnt make much sense and that's fine. Its actually hilarious but it's fine. I don't judge, one person talks really quietly but is really nice because at least he tries.
Also walk up to people and talk but be awkward and they won't care, they'll appreciate that you care about talking to them.
that's the jist of it really. all of your worries are for nothing if you think about it.
All you have to do is show interest, you dont even have to be witty, you can be nice and let the louder personalities take over..
people have a lot more empathy then you realise and if they don't then they have a fair bit to learn.
even if you're quiet most of the time its not a problem. people tend to accept quiet people, well i do and i know plenty of others do as well.
all personalities are acceptable in my book and in other peoples books as well.
hope that helps.
its also really incredible to find out how accepting people are to situations such as if you speak up about being unemployed or if you mention that you want to just spend all day watching movies because you're fed of work at work, people just laugh and nod because they are possibly thinking the same things. Humans are more similar to each other then you think. Also alot of the people who you think are confident are very ismilar to you they just have a bit more confidence to speak up, that's it.
