how to have expressionful eyes?

I don't understand when someone says someone has expression vs expressionless eyes? I've seen people in jail who are convicted killers (not live) with all sorts of eye colors and shapes. What do you think?

Hmm I'm not sure if you can. If you're in a good mood you may smile more and it makes your eyes more happy looking?

Changing this is possible. A long time ago I was often told the same thing--blank face, dead eyes, etc.

I engaged in much observation and practice. Now I am not told these things.

That's pretty much it, really. Observe the expressions of others; note the context; practice how those expressions feel on your face; etc. Animate the flesh on the front part of your head. :idontknow:
