How to close an account on a forum?

hi everyone. i have a question . i want to deactivate my accounts on variours forums that i dont use.
i realized that i was member of many forums i dont visit so i wanted to close those accounts.

then i found there was no option to delete the account....may be its just me that dont know.

plz guys can you help?

i dont want to delete my account here..its just some other sites.

Some forums will ban accounts on request to a mod - including here - you may be able to get the account deleted by contacting the webmaster, not sure. Forums can be built on varying patforms, so methods will differ, generally read the faqs for each and contact a mod in the first instance
