How many friends do you have?

I only have 1 friend really which is my boyfriend. I did have 2 other close(ish) friends who I've known for a 2 years but I'm gradually losing contact with them because keeping the friendship up exhausts me. Sometimes I find it's more hassle than it's worth to keep friendships. That said, I'm still very envious when people have a lot of friends - I know I'd never be able to keep that up though.

I am happy with just my boyfriend at the moment but I'd love to know what it's like to have a "true" friend (apart from him), not just the sort I kind of keep up for the sake of it and have very little in common with them.

I'm terrified of people but they're kind of a requirement for living outside of my bedroom...
I'm okay without them right now; because I'm scared of people in general.
Once I step outside of my safe place and start working and living again, I suppose I'll feel like I must make friends out of necessity.
I'd like to just be kind to everyone equally; if someone calls me a friend, then that's okay.

If internet only friends don't count then atm 0. I have people i hang out with in school,but we're not really 'friends'.

Depends what do you mean with the word "friends".
If you mean people with go out friday or saturday night, I have somebody.
If you mean people to confide your secret and to share emotions, no i have nobody.

Zero. And considering my current job is giving me little prospects of meeting a partner, I believe I would be lonely for a long time to come *lets out an augish screammm* So unhappy, nothing to look forward to ever, that sums up my life.
