How many botox injection in each finger should be sufficient?

I am going in about two weeks. My Doctor said 50 injections in each hand is what the insurance will cover. Would 3 injections in each finger be sufficient? And how will the fingers be effected by the injections in terms of stregnth? I know the tips of my fingers get very wet so I want 1 injection in each fingertip.

It depends on the size of your hands. I would let the doctor with a marker evenly dot out your hand and go from there. Refer to any of the youtube or International HH Society website videos that show doctors how to administer.

I got about 40 injections in each hand and 1 in the fingertips on my right hand but they were still sweaty. So when I went to do my left hand I had the doctor put some more into my right hand and the tips are still fairly sweaty. That seems to be the area that is hardest to get dry since the rest of my hand got fairly dry.

But congrats on getting botox. I would consider my HH on my hands as severe and it has worked very well. It isn't 100% but it has done a very nice job and I have a lot less anxiety about the sweat in general.
