It seems that my plea for my mum to change her contemptious, scornful attitude toward me last year hasn't gotten through, and probably never will? If anything, we're drifting further apart. Which is for the best, honestly. Ah mean, we huv'nae exactly got on well lately, anyway. I've said my piece about how ah've felt, not that my family care. So, time to plan ahead, which for me means move out, move on and, finally, be happy.

We've been in a week long heatwave over on this end and will be through most of the coming week.
Someone was visiting from out of town and it is our tradition to overdo hiking or biking and then I pay for it after which is why I am in bed at 11:30pm :/
