I know the feeling of being born in the wrong time. I so wish I was an adult when the rat pack were at their peak. There are so many parts of every era that I feel I should have been involved in but came around too late.

feeling disgusted. the food being cooked with unhygiene cooking oil. 20 death flys inside oil. everyday, foods is being prepared using that very same oil. and i cant say anything. since i'm living with relative. omg!

^ wow. im not trying to be funny but is there any way to scoop out the bugs and heat the oil high enough to burn off the bacteria...from what i understand, most bacteria can't survive above a certain temp.

that's the only thing i can think of other than "accidentally" throwing it out.

yeah, it will kill the germ but the fly still there lol. sometime i throw it away. but, the person who does the cooking still left the oil cup open everytime. sometime, she fry fish and there like 10 Unwanted flys sticking at the fish. lol!!

get a vented spoon and scoop the buggies out then heat it to scalding and burn off the gross stuff. voila! good as new!

well...not As good as new...but a lot better than it is now.

personally, i'd cook my own food but i'd be afraid of insulting the relatives i was staying with by turning down their meals.

you could go online and email a cooking oil company with your story and see if they'll send a lifetime supply of cooking oil just for good press.
