Hiding in my shell

Recently I just been feeling like staying at home when I am not at work.

When I am at home I like to watch a sitcom, movies. Or box sets and stretch out on the couch. As well I like to eat and have quite a few drinks to help me chill more. When I am not doing that I go put my heading hones on and dance at my computer desk.

For the most part I have decided that I need to be happy and do what I want to do. So to start small I just find things to keep me entertained around the house.

As well I do not feel any desire to go out or try anything new out of the house. When I think of it I just get stressed out and feel forced to be 'out there' instead of me wanting to. I don't feel as depressed lately and don't think I am really missing out on anything.

I feel that I contribute to society by holding a job where I manage a store and do what I can to help customers; therefore I Think that I fulfilled my responsibilities and can do what I want afterwards.

I am wondering if the the group thinks this is positive or negative?

If you are happy to be alone, then who am I to disagree with you. After all I very rarely socialise at all, do what makes you happy. As long as your not hurting anyone, it isn't anyone else's business. :)

I like that!

Gaining some company would be magic. I am thoroughly practical. 12 years of loneliness. It's experience. Every day can be different

Keep hope upfront

Yeah, some companhy at home, why not. And why not alone spending time there. I must agree it's pretty wonderful to relax, it's the most relaxing space ever, so that you can keep your mind out of the world of crap. ::p:
