Hide my depression

I don't know where to begin... Ever since I joined the autism foundation I have been making tons of friends who also have autism. It seems though I am the only one that suffers from mental illness's such as depression. Every one is so happy and I always fake happy for them. I love to make people laugh it just makes me feel like I made them feel better then I do. I've been achieving so much yet I'm still depressed. It's like no matter how much I try I can't be happy. This was the best year of my life and I still suffer from depression. I just don't understand it anymore. I've tried so hard to "get better" but now I'm thinking why don't I give up I just want this feeling to go away, it's the only feeling I really know...

Society understands physical disabilities but not mental disabilities as much. Autistic and aspies need to let their voice be heard to promote better understanding and communication.
