Registered on here maybe 1-2 years ago but think this is my first post. Just wanted to say hi really. I'm one of the post-surgery members. Noticed people asking about ETS, my advice would be to avoid it at all costs. I had ETS in 1999 and re-done in 2000, + lumbar sympathectomy in 2001. Since the 'honeymoon period' ended in 2002 I have had severe compensatory sweating all down my back, and in recent years my stomach and chest too, as well as legs, groin and buttocks.
To me having dry hands and feet just is not worth the side-effects and limitations that surgery have brought (e.g. lack of energy, inability to play sport, having to wear two tops even on boiling days, lack of facial and underarm sweating so a constant burning / overheating sensation, etc).
Anyway, hope this doesn't come across as bitter, just giving my honest take as someone who is past the initial stages of post-surgery. Great to be part of the forum at last, and thanks for reading guys / girls.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
