I'm a college student who is completely incompetent when it comes to reading women. I've been trying to figure out if this girl in my dorm likes me. She has told me twice that I look exactly like her high school English teacher. The first time she yelled it out to me when I was about 40 feet away from her. The second time she said: “I know I told you this before, but you look exactly like my high school English teacher!” She then went on to say that she had a huge crush on this guy. Do you think she likes me or is she just shocked by the resemblance?

I asked her out. She gave the classic “I’m really busy right now” excuse. The worst part is I’m going to run into her all the time since we live in the same building. Even when I think a woman is obviously interested, I get rejected. I’m 21 and I’ve only asked four women out in my entire life. I’ve gone on two first dates (no second dates), I was stood up once, and now flat out rejected. I might as well give up.

So wait a sec. You've asked 4 women out, and 2 of those went out with you? Dude, 50% is pretty good. Better than most guys. You can't expect 100% success ever, and you can't expect every date to end well. Most simply don't.
