help me to find my ideal job, please

hello everybody, I'm 21 years old and also suffers from social phobia and have never had a job, and I really want to find a job but I’m very scary to even ask for applications, so I would like a job in which I don't have to deal so much with people, for example I would love a job in which my function is to load heavy stuff , since one of my few hobbies is lifting weights and running
so, can u please give me any advice
Thank you so much, i really appreciate your help
take care

well.. i just recently got my first real job. I'm working at a super store in the food department. Its like my worst nightmare everyday because I have to deal with people non-stop. you kind of get used to it but its still pretty bad.

Any job you do, you are gonna have to deal with people to some extent, but if you were to work like on the loading dock at a store somewhere you wouldn't really have to deal with the public.

I was going to say night stocking at some supermarket or janitorial work at night. Both should mean you should not have that much contact with people especially the public.

No matter what you do your going to have to deal with some people though .

Hi,

Have you considered doing some type of van delivery work since that involves a certain amount of solitary work and possibly some lifting work.

You could even start a home business on the web if you wanted to.

You might also consider being a helper to a carpenter, plumber, electrician or some other tradesman, a guy who has his own business and needs a helper. You will have little contact with people, learn a trade, and gradually build up your confidence. Good luck.

yeah web designing or free-lance art design because you can do it on the move and its a diversion from customer service which makes up the baulk of most jobs where you have to work in an office or in a shop! or in hospitality, now for some people customer service may help cure SA but for me its made it worse as i find people dont want to talk to me, but for some people it may bring you out of your shell and help you, i am alot more outspoken but where i work everyone has model good looks and a rapists wit, so it can be a nightmare because i compare myself to everyone, i know Rainman had some fine examples of coping! at work.
