going to class and then not going to class

Has anyone in a class (that doesn't take attendance) driven there, looked around, got a weird look from someone (or it just doesn't feel right to go), and driven home again? It's a terrible idea but I've not gone to this class many times already. Any suggestions? I guess just go right lol.

I live on campus so I don't drive, but I've started to head to class, change my mind, and then go back before. If I'm late and think about the scene I may cause I'll turn back, or if something's off like the classroom is weird or there's something on my way that isn't usually there that throws me off. I don't miss that many classes and when I do I usually decide to skip while still in my room.

If you're already there though I guess you can try to think "well I am already here, it would be a waste of gas to go back now, and the Prof. may say something important. I obviously wanted to go to class since I'm here, it's be silly to not go now."

I do that sometimes: go in a lecture and find it not interesting or that I could probably learn it by myself and also when I have no friends with me... I'll just leave halfway through and go in the library to wait for the next class or just take the bus back home.

over a year ago I finally dropped outta college cause I couldn't attend class enough to learn the subject enough to pass...think this is a common problem for people like us

I used to do that a lot: go to campus, but not go to class. I'd spend my time reading at the library or having soup at the coffee shop. I managed to pass all my classes though *phew*
