GAD how stop muscle tension ?

I worry alot I have GAD that gives alot of muscle tension, but now I seem
to focused on it alot and focusing alone causes musle tension on new places, now I expect to come it on my tooths it pulls its so awfull feeling and because I expect its there its there...-_- but I can stop the cycle, can somebody help me how to think differently with this ?

Try meditation and mindfulness practices. They have many benefits. Perhaps you can apply what you learn to relieve muscle tension.

doesnt work, I focus on the muscle tension and then the tension is there, it are not my thoughts but my focus

I don't have many suggestions, as it's starting to be a new occurrence for me. Experienced it today in a train while sitting next to someone. Started getting muscle twitches. The more I paid attention to it, the worse it got.

Do you exercise? Taking deep breaths helps sometimes. Maybe carry something to redirect your attention when you start to focus on it..a book, snapping a rubber band on your wrist.
