Found an Iphone.

So today in school in 1st hour, i went to the bathroom around 7:50 am and i went into one of those closed toilets... took a piss and BAM , i found an iphone sitting right on top of the paper roll dispenser. Kept it for 3 hours told one of my friends... too bad it was locked... I thinking whether i should keep it or return it....

so long story short, one of my friends told me to return it and used some religion bullsh*t on me (how i'll get rewarded in the end by God)... i kinda felt guilty taking a 300 dollar item....... in the end, I handed over to the office....

Although, i did the right thing... i kinda regret returning that iphone... i mean all i got for returning that phone was 5 tootsie rolls, peice of gun from a candy jar.... and regret. WTF. i could've kept that damn phone... argh. no one ever returns my crap that i lost... (like my own phone).

would you have returned the phone or kept it ?? any advice .. i'm feeling kinda stupid right now.. when will this God reward me? He has given me nothing but crap IMO .. he gave me social anxiety, fear of girls, shyness, and a bunch of crap.. but i guess its my fault that my life sucks ass.

It's possible you make your own karma, would you feel a lot worse if you had kept it even though you're regretting it now? At least you have a conscience, it means you're not an asshole. Unless you really want to be one but i'm thinking respect for yourself is waaaay more important. I probably would have done the same. In fact a similar thing happened but i knew the guy who left it and this was about 10 years ago so it was a nokia brick (which was sweet at the time) and well i had no use for a phone lol

Just remenber the times people did that to you,I have lost my wallet,my documents,my keys and it was returned to me(my wallet was missing some money,but hey its better than nothing),it was such a relief.

I haven't found one before, but so far in most of the experiences I've seen, when people lose their phones, or when people pick them up, they almost never have them returned, or keep them for themselves. I was terribly lucky a lady who saw my phone in the restroom actually returned it back to me, god bless her heart.
