make you sociable?

as my big bro is very good with languages, due to his travelling career. So his daughters are probably good with languages

I'd imagine talking to any of this family who might be capable of saying 'Je t'aime' or danke!

I could think of 'au revoir'
carpe diem

A language geek, who likes details, and what each word type is, from adjective, adverb, to prepositions and what imperative means

Maybe I should practice more

No, they don't make you sociable. I know English, French and Spanish (my native tongue) and I can't still socialize well with people. Learning other languages is always a good thing so you should keep going. :)
