So I have been reading forums for years now. I have tried many things that never seem to work. I am 40 and have been sweating since I was 11. The older I get the worse it seems to get. I am a firm believer that most health problems can be cured. Its just a matter if figuring out what is causing the problem in the fist place. I had thyroid problems for almost 20 years. I figured that was causing my sweating. I went to Dr. after Dr. with no results. Then I started taking a whole food liquid vitamin, and holy cow!! My thyroid symptoms all went away (except for the sweating). My daughter at age 16 was told she had Rheumatoid Arthritis. Well I wasn't going to stand for that and started doing loads of research. Took her off all milk products and she is a 100% better. Come to find out she has a milk allergy. So Doctors really don't know crap about anything. A couple months ago I read a article where a guy started taking potassium and his sweating stopped. Of course I went out and bought myself some potassium and of course it didn't work for me. Well 3 weeks ago I woke with a cold sore on my lip. :crying: So I dug through my vitamin drawer and took 3000 mg of L-lysine. L-lysine deficiency can cause cold sores. I noticed I didn't sweat like crazy that day. Hmm is there a connection? The next day I took l-lysine again. Holy $*#t My hands, arm pits and feet are dry again. Now when I am nervous they still sweat but way better then sweating all day every day. is been almost 3 weeks so far and I couldn't be happier. Now I am not saying this will cure everyone. Maybe its just a matter of finding what amino acid or mineral you are lacking? I have read that Magnesium deficiency causes sweating and well that didn't work for me either but may work for someone else. Of course I had to look up L-lysine deficiency and sweating and came up with nothing. So I hope This can help someone.
