It's been a hell of a week. Monday morning I woke up from an unpleasant dream. I won't go into it, but it made me worry more than usual about this lousy life I'm stuck in. It made me want to change it, but I knew I never could, and that scared me.
So the next day, or maybe the day after that, I don't really remember, on my way to my ****ty job ( I work as a cook and dishwasher about 7 hours a day at the senior center) I ran over a raccoon. It made me feel awful. I got out and looked, but found no body. On the way home, I couldn't find a body either.
Then today was lousy as well. The stupid cheesy beef/ macaroni crap I had to make at work got all stuck to the bottom of the kettle I was cooking it in, so there wasn't enough to go around. I was going to make some more, but the manager told me to go do some dishes, and that she'd take care of it. So I felt worthless.
Then I come back home to find my cat is sick. I was powerless to take her to the vet, because that would involve driving somewhere I'm unfamiliar with, so I waited for my Mom to get home, so she could take her. (The cat is staying at the vet overnight). So, that made me feel like the worthless piece of crap that I am.
And to top it off, the number of meals we cook at work is steadily dropping. Sooner or later, I'll be out of a job.
I'll be 21 this year, and have accomplished zip. I'll leave the legacy of cooking crappy food for unappriciative old people behind. Hard to believe people like Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, etc. Did more in 27 years than I ever will. I even still live with my mom.
I don't know why I wrote this. Complaining won't help. I guess I'm looking for people in the same boat I'm in.
