I dont know about faking it till you make it and how well that works but I do know there has to be someone to talk to about how you are truly feeling. A mentor or something.

As for people criticizing others for not really caring when you are feeling bad and ask for help, I would have to agree in most instances but I would also challenge you to think of the last time a friend of yours was struggling and reaching out for help. Did you react the way you expect others to react when you are truly feeling bad or were you so caught up in how you were feeling that you did what you condemn others of doing?
