This really helps get rid of anxiety (for a bit). It's because anxiety is brought on by adrenalin. If you excorsize you burn the adrenalin off and you won't feel anxious anymore. It actually works I do it all the time before I go out or something!

Give it a shot next time you have something to do that you're feeling really anxious about :)

You mean "exercise". I thought the same thing.
Exercising makes me feel a bit better when I'm depressed.

I wholeheartedly agree! I think exercise is SO effective in lifting your spirits. Even though it can be really hard to find the motivation to exercise in the first place, it's always worth it. I don't think I've ever come back from a jog and thought "damn, that was a waste of time, I shouldn't have done that".

Anyway, you're right, it does help. Just going on elliptical for 20 mins or so makes me feel really good afterwards. I'm new to the whole exercising deal though. lol. I don't think I know how to use gym equipment properly. Going to need a personal trainer to show me and to motivate me. Aahhhh.

excercise is good.. for me it feels good that I actually pushed myself to do something.. which I feel proud of. Even if I'm tired from lack of sleep.

Yeah for sure, exercise is great. It has been scientifically proven to reduce anxiety... fact! In particular I have started to bush walk in tropical rain forests... absorbing the clean air makes you feel great!

haha exorcise the SA out of you.

I wouldn't be surprised if SA was considered demon possession back in the day.

But yeah, exercising does improve you in many areas of life.
