I feel like I'm the same way.

Yep, sounds like the kind of depression story I've heard a million times.

If isolation causes an autistic state, maybe it'll make you feel better to read up on the benefits of daydreaming on wikipedia. this seems to be one of the good outcomes of such a state

Yeah I couldn't believe that. I read that a few weeks ago and it made me sick. I know it was for scientific purposes and all, but he seemed to just make light of it.

But yeah, SA leads to social isolation which can lead to a lot of intense stress and depression. You get caught between a rock and a hard place.
