I think it depends. Some people can have no social life, because they work too much. They could be entirely normal though, without any major anxiety issues.

no, some of them are just "weird" people with different interests etc... but they don't care about having no friends most of the time, or they care in a different way..

some people have very few friends because they are just natual loners, and they like it that way! not everyone can be the life and soul of the party.

I believe the same as the 2 people above this post. I think people with different and often nerdy interrests and who are fairly loonly by nature are among the category of people with little friends and what most call life.

I have found that the older you get, the more you care about having a social life. It is natural, you can't really escape it, it seems. That's my experience anyway.

I've heard its really important in ur childhood to have one. Because it like makes a statement for the rest of ur life. Like if you don't have many friends in the beginning of ur life when ur learning about "how to have friends/why" the importance of friends will be less.

Having said that though, not having like a huge group of friends to hang out with all the time i do miss, even as im growing up. But i also know adults who are fine with only having one or two friends, and they dont have SA. I guess its just a personal preference.
